Mordred was conceived the night of Beltaine when his mother, Morgana and his father, Arthur, played the God and Goddess of the ritual and celebration. Born eight and a half months later, he was raised by Morgana following the old ways in Avalon. Some whispered he was part fae because Morgana was whispered to be fae. His mother never argued against those rumors, figuring it kept them safe.

When his father found out he existed, Arthur demanded Morgana bring Mordred to Camelot and become his mistress. Morgana refused. In retaliation, Arthur slaughtered a small village when the two were traveling for supplies. The goal was to drag Morgana and Arthur back, instead Arthur's men caught Morgana's lover in the crosshairs. The loss of her lover broke Morgana and built a hatred in Mordred, for he loved the other woman like a second mother.

When Mordred was 22, he met his father Arthur on the battlefield and killed him. The problem was Arthur was able to get in a blow as well. It left Mordred mortally wounded and near dead. Mordred's lover at the time, a powerful sorceress in her own right, lured him to the crystal caves and spelled him into a deep, healing slumber. In order to ensure his survival, she sacrificed half her heart to keep his beating. When his mother, broken hearted and grief stricken for a second time, found Mordred, she blamed his lover and cursed the woman to stand guard at his side, watching and waiting for him to wake, and Morgana wove that he would not wake until the world needed Mordred again.

Centuries have passed, and now he has finally woken to the modern world.

Permissions
Physical Affection: Mordred is not adverse to physical affection for those he knows, and welcomes it. For those he doesn't know, he won't hit you but he will be very confused.
Physical Violence: He's a skilled fighter, besting the most skilled soldiers in his time. So he's no stranger to fighting and violence.
Magical Information: He was raised around the most powerful of magic users in Avalon, and trained with them. He's aware of magic, the smell of it on the air even faint and he smells of it himself. Magic healed him, saved him, and kept him alive but asleep for centuries. It clings to him the way his skin does.
Relationships: Mordred had a lover, though they never married from when he was with his mother. She would technically be with him when he woke, sharing a heart. He is not one to just hop into someone's bed without the work to get there, but he is open for relationships if your character wants to put in the work. It can be played he and his lover went separate ways, or there is the possibility for an open relationship, they are centuries old, after all. I'm open to working it out.
Sexuality: Mordred is bisexual with a heavy lean toward women. He will more easily flirt and start a relationship with women, but with the right chemistry and work, he would be open to a male interest.

Time Period for Mordred: Mordred can be played from Arthurian times before he killed his father or modern times after he woke up. He's also perfect to slide into fantasy or paranormal canon's as well.

Backtagging: We all lead busy lives. Take your time.
Writing Style: I prefer prose, but will match if you're more comfortable with bracket.
Triggers/Hard nos: I don't have triggers personally, I'm open to dark and creepy so long as it is not dark for the sake of being dark only, and Mordred's backstory is a little dark, considering he's a product of incest and killed his own father. Hard nos for any kinks revolve around medical themes, bathroom play, and vore; though if you're interested in darker kinks best case is to ask first unless he's been posted on something that already gives blanket permissions for other harder kinks.
Availability: I work a 9-5 but the demand during it fluctuates, so some days I may be able to boomerang and other times it may take me a few days to get back to a tag. My weekends largely tend to be crash days if I don't have friend or family events to attend, so it's a hot mix of if I'll be available to tag or not. I'm always reachable via DM though.
